MARS LOGISTICS IS CONTINUING TO GROW THROUGH INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS

01/11/2016 Mars Logistics, one of the leader logistics companies of Turkey, is continuing to conclude agreements with the brands that have an important position in the global market. Serving numerous industries, Mars Logistics has recently signed an agreement for providing rail transportation services from now on in addition to its road freight services provided for a global brand considered among the largest white goods producers of the world. Creating numerous differences in the logistics sector and targeting to increase its service quality through its constant growth, Mars Logistics will, from now on, provide rail freight services in addition to its road freight services provided for an important brand considered among the biggest white goods producers of the world. Under the agreement signed with the related company, Mars Logistics will undertake container block transportation between the company’s factories in Germany and Turkey. The company’s white goods and production parts will be transported over the route of Bulgaria-Serbia-Hungary-Austria-Germany; and on the import side, finished white goods and spare parts will be transported following the same route. Saying that the company with which the said agreement was signed shows great sensitivity to environment, Ali Tulgar, the General Manager of Mars Logistics, stated the following in relation to the agreement: “We are very glad that we will also provide rail freight services for the company which is one of the international companies making the most localized investments in Turkey. As Mars Logistics, we can say that our strong know-how and our environmental-friendly logistics approach have played a big role in this agreement. In this project, we will serve our customer in optimum transit times with the advantage that we provide in customs clearance procedures in addition to the cost advantage that we offer”.
