 “Intercollegiate Logistics Case Study Competition”

The winners of the Awards of Success of the Year in Logistics 2016 were determined by the votes of over 3000 supply chain managers from various sectors, and authorized personnel from the logistics and transportation sector. The Intercollegiate Logistics Case Study Competition organized under the leadership of Mars Logistics for 13 years was selected as the Most Successful Social Responsibility Project of the Year in Logistics.

In the Awards of Success of the Year in Logistics 2016 where the winners received their awards in the Gala Night organized under the scope of Economy and Logistics Summit 2016 at Istanbul Hilton Bomonti Hotel on May 12; Mars Logistics was granted an award in the category of Social Responsibility Project of the Year in Logistics. 

The “Logistics Case Study Competition” organized under the leadership of Mars Logistics, the leading logistics company of Turkey acting from the very first date of its incorporation with the awareness that creating an enlightened country is possible by supporting the young generations in the field of education has been selected as the Social Responsibility Project of the Year in Logistics with the awareness that it raises in the sector. The Logistics Case Study Competition not only creates the opportunity allowing the students to put into practice their knowledge that they have gained during their education life, but also supports their personal development by conducting researches and analyses with respect to different aspects of logistics and supply chain.  

Accepting the award on behalf of Mars Logistics, the General Manager Ali Tulgar stated the following: “As Mars Logistics, we have always attached first priority to education in the social responsibility projects. This year, we are organizing the 13th of the Logistics Case Study Competition constituting an important part of this approach, which has now become a tradition for us. Case Study Competition requiring various qualifications such as logistics intelligence, teamwork, project management, etc. and offering the opportunity to be closely acquainted with and analyse the logistics industry is a great investment made in the sector. Therefore, the award that we receive today means a lot to us. We will continue our social responsibility projects with increased sensitivity in the forthcoming periods as well. We would like to express our gratitude to those who contributed due to their appreciation”.
