I love Mars, because while it is the financial satisfaction that makes the employee committed to the company that s/he works at; it is the feeling of moral satisfaction that strengthens it. Working at Mars and being a member of this family foster me morally and keep my enthusiasm alive. The horizontal management style adopted by my immediate manager emphasizing the team spirit instead of vertical management, his/her openness to and the importance that s/he places on employees’ ideas and his patience and efficiency-focused approach makes me feel more secure.
Mars is a company that has broke several grounds in the sector; transforming the concept of logistics from merely the “movement of goods from one place to another” as defined in the literature and supporting it with the projects and investments that it develops and makes. In fact, hearing customers speaking well of Our Strength & Size motivates me further. In addition, it shows sensitivity to social problems and sets a good example to other companies with the social responsibility projects that it participates in. The concept of ‘Investment in People” adopted and the online or one-to-one trainings offered by Mars also create an opportunity for me to improve myself.
I love Mars, because I thought about the best way to answer the question “Where do you work at?”. And I am in Mars :-) . Everybody wants to work in a good place; but being a member of Mars is a privilege …
